  • IVECCS Wet Labs & Dry Labs
  • Critical care techniques wet lab is a full day lab for veterinarians to obtain valuable training in vital life saving skills. Individuals in small groups will learn and practice numerous treatment & monitoring procedures essential to successful management of emergent/critical patient
  • CPCR Course: Using Resusci Critters models, this comprehensive three hour course will focus on “team training.”
  • Advanced clinical monitoring wet lab provide hands-on experience with numerous monitoring devices and an opportunity to personally confront a variety of clinical scenarios while working under supervision in small groups.
  • Echocardiography: A four hour wet lab with one of veterinary professions leading experts. A must for the veterinarian who wants to master this skill.
  • Ultrasound wet-lab: The hands-on lab will follow lectures and didactic instruction on how to maximize the use of ultrasound in daily practice.
  • Ventilation management labs: An introductory dry lab and more advanced wet lab will be offered. Learn the basics of ventilatory management, including machines, settings, complications, etc in the half-day dry lab. The advanced level wet lab will focus on problem solving, managing long-term ventilation patients and case scenarios
  • Small mammal emergency skills: This wet lab will provide hands-on training to prepare the attendee to manage the challenging small mammal (including ferret) emergencies that face every emergency practice.
